A lot of his classmates talked about the program, but he’d never seen it, and while part of me was tempted to find a way to expose him to it more directly so that he’d potentially have another interest/activity in common with his peers, I was wary of disappointment — another mom I know with an Autistic child similar to Ash, had attempted it for just that reason, and the plot and dialogue flow was just too much for him to handle. Well, then Ash left one of his rare play-dates with a Phineas & Ferb book set that the other mom had accidentally gotten in double for her son, and….you know him and books….the bait was swallowed, and he was hooked! A Netflix trial sealed the deal — he loves watching the show, too. And, as it happens, Perry / Agent P is his favorite character. That’s not a big surprise, since he conveys plenty of humorous action without saying a word.
