Being thankful isn’t always natural. I think sometimes we have to work really hard to be thankful. This week, I have felt the need to really pay attention to this, and so I’m participating in Thankful Thursday.
10 Things I’m Thankful for this week:
1. Good friends to enjoy good times with – like the baby shower we had for a sweet mom-to-be last night!
2. Teachers who love and want the best for my kiddos, just like I do!
3. My Wednesday morning Bible study group – those ladies are fantastic and the studies are always great!
4. My Sweetie who puts up with so much from me, and helps me to keep growing and moving forward.
5. Good resources, like Grace-Based Parenting (which we are doing a course on at church right now), that encourage and challenge me to be the best I can be in many different areas.
6. Headaches that are more mild than I had before – this seems to be getting a little better, though NO headaches at all when the wind blows would be very nice!
7. Lunchtimes with my Sweetie, either at home or ‘out’ – it’s just nice to be able to connect with him for a bit in the middle of the day, just the two of us.
8. Discount shopping days where I can get most of my groceries for the month for under $300!!
9. The right and responsibility we have in Canada (and the US) to VOTE, even if the results of the silly and (in my opinion) unnecessary by-election ended up being the same as if we hadn’t had a by-election at all.
10. My experiences with extreme winter conditions that have reminded me how lucky I am to live in a province that has these conditions a LOT and is well-prepared for them.
What are you thankful for today?

Thanks for sharing your list! I'll have to check into Grace Based Parenting– it sounds great!
Also, groceries for $300 a month?!?! Do tell!
Beautiful list! Have a blessed weekend!

Those are all great things to be thankful for!
