Happy Labour Day to my friends and family in the USA and Canada!  Today we celebrate the privilege of having jobs to do – paid jobs, at home jobs, volunteer jobs, etc.  And we have much to celebrate.

My uncle sent me the following e-mail, and it really struck me as an appropriate thing to share today.  100 years of innovation, progress and work have sure made a difference.  I know not all those changes have been positive, but it is interesting to look back and see some of those changes.
