2 DIFFERENT Contests – 2 SETS of Prizes. (They aren’t splitting the prizes, so you get EXTRA chances to win a fantastic trip to Punta Cana and other fabulous items!)

Here’s a little more info about the camps:

Pioneer Camps all look and feel different – they each have their own special kids camp flavour.

1) Alberta Pioneer
– 1 lake, 1 pool
– their primary focus activity is horsemanship

2) Manitoba Pioneer
– smallest of the 4 Pioneer Camps
– this camp has the most extensive wilderness/tripping activities –> 5, 10, 20, days out in the wilderness with other campers
– this camp also has a specialized LIT program (leadership training)

3) Ontario Pioneer Camp
This camp has 3 main offerings:
1) Adventure Camp:
-For Ages 5-10,
-2-1 camper to staff ratio (if not 1-1) so your kiddos have lots of attention and person-to-person contact
-activities: archery, mountain biking, swimming, creation station (arts & crafts), etc.

2) Girl’s Camp
-for ages 7-16
-includes tripping / wilderness
-canoeing / kayaking
-1-5 day wilderness trip
-weekly theme or program – which is really fun because the leader and staff act out the theme for the week at dinners, etc.

3) Boy’s Camp
-for ages 7-16
-tripping / wilderness
-canoeing / kayaking
-1-5 day wilderness trip
-weekly theme or program – just like the girl’s camp, the leader and staff act out the theme for the week at dinners, etc.

4) Pioneer Pacific – Thetis Island (North of Vancouver Island)
– this camp is an ocean-driven experience
– whale-watching is usually a highlight of this camp
– inevitably, water sports are a big part of this program
– along with everything else that comes with the summer camp experience.
