Crazy Canucks out on the lake, ice fishing. photo taken by my mom-in-love, to show to the family ‘back home’ in New Mexico |

Around here all huts had to be off the ice on the 15th. As a kid I can remember ice fishing with my dad at the cottage. Rather dull as I remember it 🙂
out here they ice fish in the small bays on the lake, while 100 yds away there is open water! Not sure if that's really wierd or just plain crazy!
Great pic!

Pam – it's always dependent on the weather. I think these guys knew this would be their last HOORAH because the winds came and now it's warming up fast. We were trying to figure out if it was really fun, or just a 'guy' bonding thing! LOL!
Kathy – OH YAH, that's just PLAIN CRAZY! eek!
Romina – Thanks for following! 😉 and glad you like the pic!
Hope – aw, thanks! That's kinda the point – weird (funky) and honest! 😉

I have never done that. it looks cold and dangerous! 🙂
I know you posted this weeks ago but I am SO very behind in my reading 🙁 Just wanted to tell you that I love this picture, reminds me of my days back i Saskatchewan (now I'm a big British Columbia wimp who can't handle even a few flakes of snow, LOL!)
