Is it really Wednesday? Yes, it is, in fact, almost Thursday at this point. SHEESH! Where does the time go?
This week has been spent finishing up all those loose end things that HAVE to be done before school is over (in 2 days for 1 son, in 5 days for the other 2 kiddos). Year end projects, finishing up teacher gifts, etc. etc… So, I’ve written next to nothing, but sewed more in the last 5 days than I did probably in the last 5 months!
It’s weird how it all piles up, even though I work to chink away at all those things a bit at a time through the year. But it comes down to THIS week, to these last few days.
And so here I sit, 11:54pm by my past glance at the top right corner of my screen, squeaking in Weird Wednesday! HA! I know that if it wasn’t for the last minute nothing would ever get done, because so many things always happen at that very last minute, even if that wasn’t the intention to begin with.
Also last minute will be the flurry of cleaning and party prep that will be happening tomorrow (maybe) and during the day Friday (for sure) in time for my daughter’s birthday party and 1st ever sleepover on Friday evening.
So, I guess I better get to bed. The end of the year crunch is on, and no matter how well I thought I was prepared for it, I’m not quite… and a bit of sleep will likely help with that somewhat!
