I know how much planning my family dinner menus has helped in the past, so I decided to pick up Menu Plan Monday again.
To ease my way back into it, I am planning THEME NIGHTS, to make coordinating the meals and coming up with ideas a little easier for me. What I have so far looks something like this:
Monday: Mexican Night – tacos, enchiladas, taco salad, burritos, fajitas, etc., etc…
Tuesday: One-Pot Night – stir-fry, casseroles, slow cooker meals, etc…
Wednesday: (you guessed it) WEIRD/Wacky/Wild Card/Whatever Night – something different and unusual, could be just about anything!
Thursday: Italian Night – Lasagna, meatball soup, spaghetti, Tetrazzini, etc…
Friday: Asian/African Night – Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Ethiopian, etc… (maybe I should call it Multi-Cultural Night?)
Saturday: Pizza Night – as always, our Saturday night tradition is Pizza and Hockey or a Movie!
Sunday: Fend-For-Yourself Night – clean out the fridge, make yourself something, mom’s not cooking tonight!
This looks like fun, and something I can work within, for the most part. 🙂

Love how you have a different theme each day!
My family likes the idea, and it gives me a place to start, but also flexibility so that I don’t feel like I’m doing the same thing over and over again! 🙂
I like your themed meals each week. That must make menu planning so much easier!
