Spammers usually leave some very weird comments on our blogs. Most of them are nonsensical and in languages I don’t understand. Which is fine, since they are spam, after all, and I don’t need to know what they say. Some of them are pretty funny though.
I decided, since I was sifting through the comments to make sure no contest entries had been put into my spam folder, that I would share some of the goofiest spam comments I’ve gotten in the last little while. Some of my FAVS are marked with an *.

Which ones are your favorites? What are some of the weird spam comments you have received on your blog?
Just wanted to point out that a good number of those aren’t spam but they are compliments written in broken English by non-native speakers. It seems unfair to make fun of them.
I would agree that some of them are possibly real comments.
But many of these EXACT comments come up over and over and over again. I have enough experience with spam bots (programs designed to post comments all over the internet to build back-links for websites) and I know how they work, using synonyms and somewhat correct sentence structure to try to beat the spam catching software. I know that the largest majority of these comments are in fact spam from bots. I can tell as much from their e-mail addresses and attached websites, which I did not include here, as from the comment itself.
Those are spam, I get them all the time. It’s not broken English at all, it’s random words put together to get the link back. Every once in a while I question one or two of them…but most give me a giggle before I hit delete 🙂

I has been so upset we didn’t even notice she was generally there, till your lover slapped me across the face a few times. It had been like the woman was so related to me this she was endeavoring to snap me out of it. I just sort of sobbed “Oh Cuddles, ” and held her for a while. Normally your lover wasn’t any huggy kitty but she did actually understand i always needed that, and simply snuggled in. A baby’s laughter! Haha, I love the first one. I think I’ll start ending all my comments with Meow! from now on. Spam can be annoying, but at least it’s entertaining to read.

i highly doubt that any of those were actually broken English compliments, we get stuff like that on our blog a lot – most of the spam is like that. and if you follow the trail back, they’re not legit commenters at all. (same “broken English” that shows up in spam emails too, although thank goodness i hardly get any of that now)
I think my fave is the “undoubtedly a thumbs upwards” 😀
