Welcome to WEIRD and Wordless Wednesday!
Almost always weird, and sometimes wordless, too.
Daddy’s gift to Sweetheart for Valentine’s Day,
given over a special dinner date, just the 2 of them!
[When BudBud asked Sweetheart why she got the ring, she said, “It’s a purity ring.”
He said, “You get a ring for going through puberty?!?!”
No, Buddy, it’s a PURITY ring, not a PUBERTY ring….]

It is a beautiful ring 🙂
Thanks Tara!
Bwahahahaha!
*snrk*
I almost snorted when he said it, Rhiannon….. I had to really control myself from laughing a big laugh and hurting his feelings. LOL!
LOL, puberty ring! It is very very pretty!
Thanks Stephanie! It’s prettier than the picture (I’m a terrible product photographer! lol)
lol too funny!
hehehe, I know! We were all cracking up.
AWESOME – I PLAN ON DOING THAT W/ MY DAUGHTER WHEN SHE IS OLDER TOO!
Nicole, that’s so cool! Somebody told us about it years ago, and we put a plan in place then to do it. The timing was something we weren’t sure about, but it just felt like this is the right time. She’s 12, and Valentine’s Day seemed like the right occasion for it!
It’s simply perfect, we’re going to do this with our girls
Simple is part of what we were hoping for, Julie. I loved the look of this ring – and hopefully a significant picture for her. Her youth leader told her that she had been given a ring like this from her Dad and it didn’t come off until she got engaged. My daughter said that she’d just move it to the other hand after she got engaged, until she got married, and then she could take it off. I thought that was a significant decision on her part. What a sweet smart girl we have!
HA!! I love when kids say things like that.
And the ring is lovely.
Lady E – it IS funny when they come up with stuff like this. You know where their minds have been! LOL! I really like this little ring, too! Thanks!
Will you be getting your son a ring when the time comes?
We will be getting rings for both of our sons when the time comes, for sure! More manly kinds of rings, though. 🙂
