Welcome to WEIRD and Wordless Wednesday!
Almost always weird, and sometimes wordless, too.
It is a terrible scene of carnage on the front (and rear) lines today. Red can be seen all over the place, with evidence of violent explosions, and debris is spread everywhere.
Yes, it’s “Appleseed Down” (like “Black Hawk Down, but without the guns, haha!).
With 111kph (about 70mph) wind gusts, and sustained winds of 80kph (50mph), our trees were hammered on Monday, and it was dangerous to go out in the yard. It was hailing apples!
Left – the front lines (yard): crab apples – each about as big as a ping pong ball.
Right – the rear lines (yard): grass is completely trampled from falling apples, leaves shredded from the wind, apples about as big as your fist, apples that hit the ground in the violent wind and literally exploded on impact.
Wordless Wednesday is meant to be a simple post which features a photo to convey a message that speaks for itself without using words; well not a lot of words!
