Welcome to WEIRD and Wordless Wednesday!
Almost always weird, and sometimes wordless, too.
What’s the name of this game that the Kiddos are playing with Gram?
It’s a long-time family favorite of ours!
I even played it with my Great-Grandma
(her cards looked like regular playing cards though)!
Wordless Wednesday is meant to be a simple post which features a photo to convey a message that speaks for itself without using words; well not a lot of words!
Please feel free to link your Weird and Wordless (or Word-full) posts below.

oh I don’t know! My grandparents were of the “cards are of the devil” crew so my mom never learned to play cards and therefore I didn’t either lol! I learned to play a few games though in college… but can’t remember the names of any of them now!
LOL! I have so many friends like this Tara! We’d be in so much trouble, because we play cards all the time! HAHA!
I’ve never played that one – looks like fun!
I can’t wait until the girls are a bit older to start playing cards game with them. Right now they just destroy! lol
Tammi
My Organized Chaos
We love it Tammi! They just need to know how to count, basically! Very fun.
YAH, they’ll get big enough soon enough. LOL!
I love watching kids play card games it takes me back to a simpler time when life was void of xboxes and ds. thanks for sharing
aw, I hear ya, Sherry! We play a lot of REAL games – card games, board games, outdoor games, etc.
Thanks for stopping by!
I don’t know many cards games but I am a HUGE fan of Dutch Blitz! Thanks for sharing that great family shot!
Cheers,
Char
My daughter and I play Dutch Blitz a LOT, and when Gram is here she plays with us too. The boys don’t seem to like it as much as we do. LOL! “It’s a vunderful goot game!” 🙂
I don’t know! I don’t play cards much, but JP grew up playing with his grandparents!
Steph – you’ll just have to come back and check out the other comments to find the name of the game! LOL! 😉
We LOVE Skip-Bo in our family. I used to be a champ. Can’t wait for my mom to teach my kids too.
Yup Yup, that’s it!!
We have Skip-Bo cards everywhere – we even play when we go camping sometimes! LOL! It’s such a fun game, and our kiddos have been playing for years now!
Skip-Bo!! We always played that when I was a kid..loved it!
That’s the one!!!
We like how flexible you can be with it. Put 10, 15, 20, 25 cards in the player stacks depending on how long the attention spans around the table are! We even play partners sometimes. SO fun! We all love it, and I’m glad it’s one all my kiddos like to play!
