Memory Verse Monday – on Tuesday this week! LOL! It’s because I posted about my anniversary yesterday.
As I mentioned last week, we’re getting ready for our Vacation Bible School in a couple of weeks. I’m in charge of the music for the week at “Saddle Ridge Ranch”. We’re using a different translation of the Bible than I’m used to, so I am working hard to make sure I remember the Bible verses for VBS the CORRECT way!
2 verses this week, and 2 verses next week, so I can get them all posted, and memorized, before VBS starts.
Day 2: Does God care about me?
Bible Verse: Casting all your care upon Him, because He cares about you. ~ 1 Peter 5:7 (HCSB)
That’s a good reminder for me too. 🙂
Day 3: What is God’s Plan for Me?
Bible Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you” – this is the Lord’s declaration – “plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11(HCSB)
This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. A solid declaration from the Lord that not only does He have plans for us, but also that they are GOOD plans! That is good news!
Yes, God always cares about us. It is through His divine providence that we get all good things in life. We just have to learn to really trust Him to take care of all our needs. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
You are SO right, Mel! I'm so glad we're getting this message out to our young people through the VBS this year!
