My SHOP is Open - How about some lunch?

Well, it is a few days past my original countdown deadline – but what’s a few days among friends, right? 🙂

I’m SO excited to announce the opening of my It’s OK to be WEIRD! shop on Open Sky!

I’m already working with a number of great suppliers to get some excellent products to share with you, and you’ll be hearing more about them as time goes on.

The people at OpenSky (both in the office and the suppliers) have been fantastic to work with. And their hearts are in the right place. Just look at the first promotion I heard about after opening my shop:

“OpenSky Presents” is dedicated to a special project this week. We’re joining forces with Chef Ann Cooper’s The Lunch Box Project to help children get access to healthy food at school. The Lunch Box provides schools with free, tangible tools to transform school lunch from highly processed foods to made-from-scratch meals using nutritious, fresh ingredients. Tools for real change include school-tested recipes with nutritional and training tips, financial modeling guides, budget templates, downloadable, customizable calendars, and training videos.

The Lunch Box Project‘s goal is to raise $20,000 by October 15th.

How You Can Help

Purchase any of the participating items (listed below) between now and September 7th.
• OpenSky will donate $1 for every Lunch Box item sold to The Lunch Box Project.

Together we can change the way we feed our kids!

I can’t think of a better way to launch my new shop than to join in with this promotion!
