Welcome to Week 11 of my nutrition and weight-loss journey,
sponsored by Mission4Nutrition.
After losing no weight 2 weeks ago, and then going UP 0.4lbs last week, I’m excited to report a big loss this week!
DOWN another -2.6 lbs
My biggest loss since my first week!
Total weight change over 11 weeks: -11.9 lbs
When I am using the Herbalife Program the way it’s designed (2 shakes a day – breakfast and lunch – with a colorful dinner, and some small, high-protein snacks between meals) it totally works for me! You’ll recall that I was running low on supplies last week, so I skimped a bit here and there, and the results showed that. This week I’ve been “ON” all week, even enjoying a few ‘treats’ (like a late night anniversary Oreo ice cream sandwich) and again, the results speak for themselves.
When I’m using the program as designed I’m also not hungry or craving things I shouldn’t be eating. This week I had 3 varieties of shakes to choose from – Cafe Latte, Dutch Chocolate and Wild Berry. I think that works best in my mind – I like knowing I have options and I’m not ‘stuck’ with the same thing over and over (am I the only one like that?). Like I mentioned last week, too, I really like having a fantastically yummy snack in the protein bars. I do feel like they are a ‘treat’ and I look forward to at least 1 a day!
Sweetie and I are walking together 3 or 4 nights a week as well. We have a nice 1.5 mile loop mapped out, and it’s been so nice to walk together in the evenings, usually right at dusk. It’s good to talk and walk, and I find myself really looking forward to those walks, sometimes ‘itching’ to go as the sun goes down. It’s as much for the walk as it is for the time with him.
Two things I need to be working on – drinking more water, and better sleep patterns. I often forget to drink enough, and I know in general we’re just more healthy if we drink more water, and it’s easier to lose weight if your body is well hydrated. I am also a night owl, and seem to do some of my best work at night… and then sleep too late the next morning! So, I need to work for balance on both of those things!
I have a few more weeks of working with Mission4Nutrition. Let me know if there are any questions about their products or the program – I’m sure Sarah and Emily will be glad to answer them! They really are GREAT to work with!

Congratulations on your weight loss. It is good to try and do something healthy for ourselves and our bodies. Keep up the good work.
Way to go!!!
And good for you for the walks – I need to get back into that. Too often I drive instead of walk and that little change can make a huge difference!
good for you !!!
