Here we are at week #6! This journey to better health through better nutrition is made possible because of my WONDERFUL Blog Sponsors Mission4Nutrition.
One of my goals when I started this challenge was to look and feel better. That shows up in different ways, not just in smaller numbers on the scale. I may have mentioned before that I feel less ‘lumpy’, and my hubby is definitely noticing the difference. He says I just look more trim. That’s what I’m talking about! 🙂
Today I got measured. Weight loss tells part of the story, but as I said before I KNOW I’m losing inches. My jeans tell me so, my shirts tell me so.
Here are my +/- in measurements:
upper chest: -1.5 inches
chest: -0.5 inches
waist above belly button: -1.5 inches
waist at belly button: unchanged
waist below belly button: unchanged
hips: -1.25 inches
right thigh: -0.5 inches
left thigh: -0.5 inches
right arm: -0.75 inches
left arm: -0.75 inches
Total change since starting 6 weeks ago: -7.25 inches
This week, I’m down 0.2lbs, too.
Total weight change over 6 weeks: -6.7 lbs
This week we celebrated my daughter’s 12th birthday with dinner out and of course ICE CREAM. I also know my system is stressed a bit as I had a cold sore come up yesterday (I hate those things!). But even with that, I still lost some weight. That feels pretty good. And losing the inches feels pretty fantastic, too!
Sarah and Emily are just great! It was so good to see Emily today, and to be encouraged by her. Mission4Nutrition is definitely helping me to keep moving forward, and these numbers tell just part of that story. I enjoy working with them so much!
