Sunday, June 26, WEIRD Sunset in Southern Alberta. I was told it’s from the smoke in the air, but I didn’t know there was a fire nearby. Anyway, the sun was a strange bright red dot in they sky. Beautiful, and kinda eerie at the same time. Definitely weird!

I think it's really pretty!
Pretty cool. I actually was thinking of making my college art students pant a picture of a sky for part of their exam. They generally want to have a sky flat blue, possibly a little gradient. But sky's can be so much more interesting then that. This one proves it.

Crazy enough, the smoke is from the forest fire burning North of Fort McMurray. Who knew it would go so far south just because of a wind change! At least it makes the sunsets pretty.
