That Snow fence? That’s no fence!
Well, that’s what the “snow fence” at the park around the corner
from our house looked like for several days.
(in fairness, this pic was taken last week, on November 7,
which is maybe a bit early for snow fences in some parts of the world,
but not here in Lethbridge…we’ve gotten a BUNCH more snow
before they actually got the fence part put up on these posts
and the snow fence still isn’t up.)
Wordless Wednesday is meant
to be a simple post which features a photo
to convey a message that speaks for itself without using words;
well not a lot of words!

i do NOT want to think about snow!! no thankyou!
We’ve had a bunch already! I think it might all melt tomorrow…. no, probably not. LOL!
lol they don’t do snow fences here… there are enough trees that they don’t need to! But I remember the snow fences from when I lived on the Prairies. I bet they were wishing they had gotten it up before the snow fell!!
The snow fence on the other side of the park is up, so I assumed this one was up too. I drove by last night and NOPE still no fence! They actually have to snowplow along the fence line so that the crews can put up the fences once the snow has fallen! Our taxpayer dollars working wisely……. lol
Well, I learned something new … I had no idea what a snow fence is. And you’re right … this doesn’t look like one. 🙂

The snow doesn’t pile up against the fence, but instead piles up on the opposite side of the fence. Really cool things, very helpful, when they are actually up! HAHA!
There is also a fence like that near where I live too they but the expensive part the poles and find out they have no money for the wire maybe it’s just a thing people do
I’ve seen some of those too! This one is definitely meant to be a snow fence. It’s up now. I should take a follow-up photo! 🙂
