My Review

Several of us in my house have issues with dry skin and eczema. Two of my kiddos have suffered with it off and on since they were born. We are always on the look-out for lotions that are helpful without being heavy.

George’s comes in 2 varieties, Special Dry Skin Cream and Light Moisturizing Lotion, and in various sizes.

For every day, on-the-go use, the Light Moisturizing Lotion is fantastic. It absorbs quickly, is not heavy, and has barely any fragrance at all. I find it very helpful for after washing dishes or doing a lot of cleaning – a couple dabs of the lotion and my hands feel smooth and soft again.

For after bath and shower, and sometimes before bed, the Special Dry Skin Cream is excellent for locking in moisture and preventing anything from getting flaky and itchy. My daughter finds it especially soothing on the itchy spots behind her knees and in the bend of her elbows. It is a thicker, creamier formula than the Light Moisturizing Lotion, as expected. Again, there is almost no fragrance, and it absorbs well. I initially noticed this cream to feel a bit stickier than the lotion, but that feeling goes away quickly.

We appreciate that George’s cream and lotion contains NO Urea or Lanolin and is Paraben Free. And I love the small size tubes that fit into my purse and backpack. They are PERFECT for toting around, and easy to dispense with clean caps.
